Ms. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, working in the nonprofit sector for more than 13 years. She's worked in a number of different settings, including working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems, sexual assault survivors, and partners who have been victimized. In 2019 she has been working with Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. The clinic now offers telehealth health services. Dr. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team that assists pregnant and postpartum women. She provides trauma-informed therapy for adults and specializes on the use of trauma-informed treatments. She also offers Group as well as individual therapy, a Medication assisted treatment program as well as referrals for special treatment, and a women's support group. Amanda helps find homes for animals in need through her role as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer. Amanda believes that Best Friends "Save Them All" as the tagline of the group, and has a passion to see Los Angeles be a no-kill community.
